Anyone have an opinion on these sleds? I found a used one that I'd like to check out, anything I should look for first. How do they compare to the newer 600's. Thanks

I am even with an 04' F5 and a 07' 4-stroke 1000 Cat....I beat a REV (500ss?) at the snow drags this weekend, that was with a couple large jumps. Its about 50lbs heavier then the newer sleds, but the suspension travel appears to be the same as the F-series cats (just lookin at numbers, not geometry of suspension).

Replace the pistons when you get it unless they already did, I got a set off of ebay for under $200, it was a very simple task to perform (you can find a guide).

I bought one new in 2000, put over 4000 miles on without anything major, but if stock they need help in the jetting, and clutching area. Gearing will help also. JMO MIKE>>>
