I have a 2001 Polaris 600 Edge X with an slp boost bottle. I have 96 studs and reverse. What would be a good clutch setup for this sled? Maybe an epi kit or hot seat performance. Or should I even just make up one with the polaris parts?
Thanx! Polaris all the way baby! ylsuper.gif

A known good one is 10-62, almond/blue, HSP34X helix (hot seat), erlandson orange #2, or silver/blue #2. Take that boost bottle off, it is costing you quite a few hp, as tested by dynotech. That sled does not need one. The only sleds that should have one are kehein equipped big blocks. The flatslides carburate properly on the low end, and the high idle is just a characteristic of the powervalve engines, regardless of the manufacturer.

I bought a Hot Seat kit, I too weight about 165 lbs. I love it. I gained top speed as well as getting great trail performance. I would say to buy one and be done with it, but I'm sure you could get away cheaper piece mealing it.
