Well I just got back from the bumpiest 200 miles of my life. The water bars on OUR system seem to be staying closed, BUT I went through some nasty ones today south of Derby.

I would say by next weekend, unless we get more snow, riding will be limited to the NEK, but I could be wrong. I think the best riding this weekend was west of Derby because there was no traffic.

I will report back later on.

I don't want t steal any thunder from this thread but Mr.GaderX did a excellent job grooming on friday & today!No trails were groomed today except the Derby trails.Can't DOO much with warm temps and slushy snow.I think they did it very early in the a.m...Trails were great yesterday until the sun and heavy traffic hit.The snow sure melts quickly!....The contractor that took over the Thunderrider's trail system did a very nice job.Pipeline,powerline, trail 98 was very "white carpet"like.It did rain quite heavily lastnight for a 45 min but later changed over to a little snow.The forcast for the upcoming week looks favorable for riding.A couple of overnight lows of 7 and mixed precip/snow.Holiday weekend looks good!

If you rode our town trails right now you wouldnt be thanking me!

Although, 105 and 105A just got groomed tonight and should set up good now that everyone has gone home. Town will be groomed tomorrow as well as 5 South to Orleans.

Looks like we will be getting warm (30's) days and cool nights (teens). This should make for decent riding this week and weekend.

Time to make some maple syrup! mmmmmmm....
