Beginning of season riding hammer on it wot get out of it and get back into it wont go.come 2 stop idle fine give gas wont go over 1800rpm acting like t.o.r.s assuming?sit there minute then run fine did this twice after wot.Rode rest of season putting 700 miles on with no problems.Last ride the other weekend 300mi with no problems.Stop and look at trail map start up idle fine go to take off wont go over 1800rpm.Sit a couple min.idling takes off fine runs great.Going 60mph down trail light goes out and she dies try to start nothing not even a light.Sit couple min.starts and idles fine down trail we go.Stop at stop sign wait for cars headlight blinks sled stays running take off runs great 30miles later back to room like nothing wrong.guy said maybe throttle bushings for the wot thing.thinking maybe relay problem.any suggestions would be appreciated thanks for your time. Wiring harness under the motor rubs thru. Check for shorts.

I had a vmax 600 that did something very similar, it sounds like tors. i just flip flopped the 2 wires on the carbs and havent had a problem since. AS far as the lights like turk said check the wiring harness, mine came out of the clips and burned through on the exhaust pipe and my lights started flickering and going on and off. hope it helps.
