The signs are gone from Wadena, to Lintlaw....Lots of bare spots on the trail...Most of the trails in this area are concrete hard, with little or no slider lube....

Well, after my weekend up north at Elkridge, I was unimpressed with the state of the "Trails" maintained by the Lakeland Club.

I understand the weather was not conducive to grooming, but the trails were awful. And the signage was terrible particularly by the roads. More than once we missed unsigned turns. I do not understand why signs would be removed Mid-march, particulary alond roads where the access is so good, or have the signs been stolen?

I have been riding up north for years now and spend a LOT of money there and I hate to complain about such a beautiful area, but something need to be done to maintain this area.

The groomer has been down for a month, or more and I doubt they will have it out before next season. I was told that Candle Lake got their groomer fixed and were grooming last Friday. It may have been concrete, but I guess they were grooming it.
