Rode from Belmont to Fabians in twin mnt. today. Not bad but from the bridge at mt. Laffayette to twin is about done after today. 100 foot bare spots and lots of them. Another thing I noticed is all the signs at RR crossings that state the tracks are good from 1-1-08 to 3-15-08. Thats tomarrow. Does that mean closed after that or no grooming or whats the deal. Does that mean for us to ride to camp in colebrook we have to travel up the east or west side of the state? Anyway, just a heads up. enjoy

RR Tracks are now open till the 31st. They have extended the date, http://www.nhtrails.org/Trailspages/SnomoP...moTrlCndtn.html listed at the bottom of the states page.

Funny I traveled Route 93 the last 2 days and noticed how good the tracks look from as far South as Concord right up to Lincoln. Very small amount of rail showing. How long did it take you?

2.5 hours each way, we were kind of just crusin. The tracks are fine, it's the section after the bridge on the north side of the notch. 20 foot bare spots in the morning turned into 75-100 feet just 2 hours later.

That's too bad, I rode out of my yard here in Dundarton 2 weeks ago sunday at 7am and turned around in Lincoln and was back home at 5pm. Some of the best local riding I have done in 5 to 6 years. Hope we get good snow again next year.

That's pretty good time. Any problems with switches or bridges? I'm thinking of heading out of Concord to Lincoln for lunch and back in a day.

Isn't the speed limit 45 mph???? J/k thumbsup.png

Are you guys hitting the rail bed right out of Concord by 393, or are you going thru Boscawen? I'd love to hammer up to Lincoln and back in a day from home.

I've been going out thru Clough's and then towards Contoocook.

The trussels are all bare, there a biotch, be careful.
POL900...Yes, the limit is 45mph, but when i'm on the tracks and can see a 1/2 mile or better ahead then i set my own limit. Thanks for your concern.
