i want a ski-doo ditch banger and most likely going to modify it better but what is ski-doos best ditch banger for under 3000 bucks

The best ditch banger I've owned was a 99 mxz 600.....it was a blast!

You could probably get an 03 rev for that price.

depends on engine size! I would go with a zx 800 over a rev 700

Seriously though If you want to ride hard and jump and ride powder get an 02 MXZX 440 and put a 136 on it you will have a blast. If you wanna stretch your budget to say 3500 get an 03 or 04 rev 440x.

well i was kinda heading in the direction of a older formula(1999 and older) and something light, and plan on making it better, anyone got ideas

Hey um, I would shy away from the Formulas for ditch banging. I have a 98 600 Form III and a 98 700 Form III and they are both heavy sumbitches. At least stay away from the triples. I also have a 01 MXZ 800 and that's my ditch banger, but I am also thinking about a mxzx 440 for banging. My buddies ride 02 600 mxz's and they do great too.

I'd say get like a 99 Summit 670 X package 144", that would be a sick ditchbanger/ backwoods machine, and cheap by now!

save for a rev. the chasis is a whole different ball game. I never ridden a rev before I bought mine, and I can tell you first hand, its amazing.

i had a 1999 formula z 500 i could do more stuff than my buddies mxz 700 and pretty much any other sled when it came to jumpin or playing in the powder they will take alot of abuse when i sold mine it was fucked and i wish i never sold it the rev 600 carbed is really hard on gas so id go with a formula and it was one of the best looking ones ive seen 2 inch block riser but with completely stock motor can do much to mod the motor but id deftly put better shocks in i put brand new ski-doo stock shocks in it blew them in a year you could probley pick on up thats in good shap for $2500 at the most

an 01 mxz 600 is a great sled for that 700 would be nice too. but they can take a lot of abuse.. a lot of things you can do to this sled for mods too!!
