This silencer (THING) well give your sled a 5 to 6 Hp gain as I had to add 3 grams of weight to the primary clutch to bring the rpm's back down to 8200-8300 rpm's.I had the silencer as of the 1rst of the year so its dam near like new.Want $315.00 US shipped , was $375.00 New.If you want a light weight silencer that gains Hp #'s this is the one to get. Again this is for the 02-04 Arctic Cat 600 EFI motor. Was on a 03 1M 600EFI Arctic Cat. PM me please for info.Below is the guy that makes and sells it his name is AL .If you go to snowest.com and do a search you well get more info of guys useing it .Thanks ,Troy
The Thing''
Keeps the main exhaust pipe running at a constant pressure regardless of elevation or temperature. What this means is that we are able to mantain a constant vacuum in the pipe. This assists dramatically in the ability of the motor to get more fuel above the piston to be fired.
We manipulate sound waves to achieve this process and there by use the spent exhaust sound waves to assist in maintaing peak performance and power no matter where you sled.
Our team can custom build this after can for almost any model of sled.

Hey tigg,
they are louder than stock....very deep sounding....and very very powerful....the "thing" makes almost as much power as a set of twins,.......no bullshit....I have talked to loads of people with them and it's the same result....
they rock!

On the 1M 600EFI it was not much louder then stock but a nice raspee(sorry for the spelling) sound to it, but on my 1M 900 you better have ear plugs if your next to it as the THING rips( This is with a speedweerx pipes)The 600 had the stock pipe on.

It all depends on what pipe our motor its on as on the 600EFI stock pipe it was not as loud as the MBRP Can I had on my FireCat.Really sounds nice on the 1M 600.Reason I'm sell as I have the sled for sale and buying a M7.

I e-mailed them directly and they said that the thing would be very loud on my sled (02 600efi) So I am not interested, they are working on a stelth version of the same product so I will keep my eyes open..Sorry, but I hate my ears ringing after a long days ride...................tigger

Tigger , I would say it is louder then stock but again on the 600 motor with stock pipe it is not ear ripping but more of a raspie sound to it as I said before it is not as loud as the 500 Firecat I have with the MBRP can on it.And I well let it go cheaper then a new one well cost as the new shelth well not make as much HP as the one I have as when they made it not as loud it does mess with the sound waves in the pipe so it makes 2 HP less I heard.

Why spend $300+ on 5-6 hp engine and higher db's, when you can buy a clutch kit for $200 and add 8-12 track hp and keep our trails open?

When did a clutch kit add HP to a motor ?????????I can see getting a sled clutch wright to help get the hp it haves to the track, but never ever seen a cluch kit add HP to a sled?Where can I get one of them 10 to 12 HP clutch kits for $200.00?

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL you have to be kidding me! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you ever heard of track hp before? LoL I cant believe I am even typing this hahahahaha.
Did I say a clutch kit added engine hp, no I said track hp. So you are telling me that if I have 150 enigne hp you have 150 track hp?
A clutch kit in reality in terms of engine hp when set up right can be worth as much as 30 engine hp. Ask people who tune, and they will explain further. :banghead:
Ask any racer, or competitive rider..."Engine hp doesnt mean jack, if you cant put it to the ground". Quote me on that. Go run a 160 hp f7 with stock clutching and Ill race a 115hp properly clutched sled, and beat you everytime garuenteed!

citysledder ,Sorry I did miss the part about track hp in your post.I know all about getting as much HP from the motor to the track and I never said if I have 150 at the crank I well have 150 at the track in my post so now were even.I was in a quick read mood at break and read your post to fast.If you read my post its the same thing your trying to tell me in your second post .Its all about getting the HP to the track when clutching! The Thing may be to loud for some areas but Works ok where I ride.I hate to say this again ,But on the 1M 600 I have with stock pipe it was not all that loud and I'm stating the truth here.Yes it is louder then stock but it was not near as loud as my F5 with the MBRP can.

Are any of you positive the thing adds HP. Know this for a fact????? I read on other sites it looses and only adds dbs. Sounds cool on the race track, but you would never find them running something that looses hp would ya ?????
