i have a 04 xr 440 roller for sale. the chassis is in alright condition...a few dings and cracks but nothing major. it has a very nice studded track. there might be one or 2 missing lugs and 1 or 2 bent studs. none torn through. has a very clean rev seat/tank conversion. its has a 9 gal on but a 5 gal clear would be included. its already set up for triples so those want balls...this is your rig!!

a xcr 800 would drop right in. i acutally had a ultra punched into a 800 in it. i would be possibly willing to part out stuff so if you need anything let me know. would be willing to meet halfway or somthing depending on where you are. i will be getting more pics of the minor dings and such and also a price range althought feel free to make offers. any questions feel free to pm me or give me a call. 218-280-6366. thanks levi

wud the engine out of a 01 xc sp 800 twin fit in there?
1sleeper
Mar 24 2008, 04:51 PM
Yes it would be an easy fit but as it's set up for a triple, I would buy it for that. You're talking no more money but better resale and much more power AND reliability. If you were to make a deal with the pipes, I bet it might be cheaper to keep it a trip. If you have an 800 twin engine, sell it or trade for an xcr engine. They are about the same in value. You won't regret it. If it was closer to NY, I'd own it in a second as a reliable back up.

This may sound like a dumb question....How hard was it to do the Rev seat/tank conversion? I have a 2004 ProXR chassis with a custon heat exchanger setup that I intend to make a trail sled also. That combo is just about the cleanest method I have seen yet. Good looking roller btw! Triple swap is my intention also!

the rev seat and tank is not to hard to do just takes some time to measure out, weld the pices to bolt to on the sterring post hoop and drill the holes for the rest of the mounting.
