73 eltigre 400 that needs a bit of motor work. Really light weight! Just a bit out of your area.

Seriously a free air sled from the early 80's would be the lightest and have parts very available. I would look for something with a 15x121" track to open up your options for lug heights.

Ski - doo Citation LS
Add a liquid 583 (yes it actually fits quite nicely)
Short heat exchangers in tunnel
G-ville Gypsy
I water cross with a 1982 ski-doo blizzard, with a 670 in it!!! Quite fun, and you get some wicked looks!! That cat chasis sounds like it would be a fun project. Good luck!!!
Ball Buster
Yes real fun with the Blizzard. You never made it across the lake even once. So dont do a Blizzard they are way too heavy.

If your looking for fame and misfortune.....get an old Blizzard, you will be the crowd favorite! So what if it only makes it to the deep end of the lake before it sinks like a rock. Don't listen to Buster, he's still pissed he had to pump water out of the Gypsys Blizzard after each failed attempt........Anyway, Get a cheap old Blizzard, and a realy good floatation device, you'll be a hero! buttrock.gif
