A few weeks ago I bought an 07 leftover switchback 144. Was still $800 in rebates and paid $8000. Dealer gave me all the 08 updates and I have 600 miles on it. Last ride I got 17+mph.

Bought a 06 FST in April of 07 for $5700 out the door with all the recalls and updates performed before I picked it up. I had the 08 reflash done in Jan 08. I now have 500 southern Wi miles on it. Getting around 16 to 17 mpg. Love the ride of it but I hate the steering it has. Seems to push in the corners!!! Looking into Holz spindles and new skis.

167 viewings, there's a lot interest, but not many post. Nobody buying new sleds? Snow check ends in three weeks.

I'll never snowcheck again from Polaris. They have screwed people for the last three years with very late deliverys and better deals for people buying off the floor in the fall. Learned my lesson.

Part of the snow check this year is a date guarantee of Nov. 15. If they miss the date they give you an additional rebate of $1,000.

I think that's a bunch of bullshit, there is no reason you shouldn't have a sled that you ordered in spring ready by October or September for that matter, and for Polaris to use that as some kind of promotion for Snowcheck? Pretty lame if you ask me.

In December of 07 I bought an 06 FST Classic for $6900 with all the recalls. My local dealer quoted me $7600 (as did most dealers with 06 leftovers) saying thats what he owned it for. I called around and found 2 dealers that would take $6900, so my dealer matched that price. They performed all updates and I now have 800 miles on it. I thought it was a good deal and I'm very happy with the deal and the sled..

that deal is only for the 800 sleds and the reason they did it is because it took awhile to get the 800 longtracks out last year so they are saying they will be out quicker this year.

As long as I get my sled before the snow flies I'd be happy. I certainy don't need it in Oct. or Sept. Obviously they are pretty certain that they will have the sleds available before that date or they wouldn't have a guarantee. To you it may be lame but anyone concerned with delivery may welcome some extra money if the date is not met. I don't see any other of the manufacturers offerring a guarantee backed by an extra rebate.

You're right. That part of the snow check is only for 800 sleds. Option B is for all 2009 sleds.

My dad just got a new FST Dragon in January......traded in a 02 XCSP600 with 3k miles on it. Gave us $3800 for the sled and walked out the door with a $10,250 sled for $6400!!!!!!!!!!!!
