May of considered an FST Dragon Switchback if it were offered for 09. Seeing there is just a standard SB being offered, I may look for a leftover 08 to save some $$ - appears as if there's very little difference between the two. Am I missing anything? A 121 Dragon isn't out of the question, but was really looking to go 136 for ride and hook-up to put the all that torque to good use!

The 2008 and 2009 Turbo Switchbacks are very similar but here are the key differences:

Revised rear suspension front arm mounting location and calibration - while it appears to be a small change the end result is a dramatic improved in ride quality. The biggest change is the front arm mount is 1" lower in the tunnel and 1/4" forward.

A more robust cooling system - results in a system that is easier to bleed for dealers. It features an added reservoir and in short is an improved system with a focus on quality and dependability.

IQ Turbo Dragon features new billet mounted handguards.

Those the only key changes to the 2008 vs 2009 Turbo IQ and Switchback models. Hope that helps.

That helps a lot - THANKS! Incidently, where did you get the information so that I can research some myself? Sound like the biggest difference is in the ride, not really perfromance. I know there will always be improvements, but hard to believe the ride gets much better than the 08 IQ's. Thanks again.

As I have found out over the years Polaris has a chassis and year after year they finesse the hell out of it until they can no longer finesse it anymore. Like the trailing arm chassis, finessed til a new chassis is built.

That is great news as I'm deciding to go back to the FST SB or wait till 2010, so does this oil reservoir stop the spill into the air breather and can I lean it hard left in deep snow?
