Hey my buddy wants to know wat the top speed is for a 2005 XC SP 600? its his dads sled and he said it went 110 is that right? and over 90 on trails?

I had an 01 xc 600 and it would show 110 mph on the speedo on the lake which was 103 on the radar gun so it sound about right!

On ice, our 2003 XC600 did 115 on speedo, and 108 on radar. On hardpacked snow it is usually around 100 to 105 on speedo.

my cousins dad's 2005 polaris xcsp 600 on glare ice did 116 on speedo and 111.5 on the gun,

it was running on 92 octane gas and has vforce3 reeds.

My 05 600 50th version will show a little over 105 mph on the speedo when wound out a long ways on a lake...1.25'' track slows it down a bit. A buddy has the same sled that has a good tune up of his....seen it do a couple 105-106 mph runs on radar.

Id be very surprised if you saw 110 mph out of that sled on the radar gun. The speedo may very well say 110, but they are notoriously inaccurate.
Mine is usually good for 95-100 mph (and mine is clutched), so I dont see how you would get another 10 mph out of it unless you had some signifigant engine mods.

my 05 600 xcsp all stock will pull 110 on speedo and 105ish on radar (ice)

On ice and smooth hard-pack, mine will pull 111-112mph on speedo-- 106 on gps.
It also runs mid 90's in the 1000'.

I've seen 105 on the speedo on hard packed snow before. Bone stock 05 600.

Buddy of mine said to mention his 05 600 50th is getting that mph on radar using a custom setup button secondary clutch...not with the oem team clutch.

110 on speedo with mine,finally got beat by a rev 600 but it was in powder could only get up to 95.the rev could do a 100 in powder he had 1 1/4 track i have the.91 wish we had hardpack to run that day.

button clutches are faster. you just have to maintain them more!

on my stock 02 600 with a 1.25 track I have seen 110 on speedo, that was in a freshly groomed ditch, i would imagine it would do better if i had a longer stretch.

100-105 on hardpack, but I wont try for any more, I want to bring it home...

My wife had a 02 500 X and I have seen 113-114 mph on the speedo on a real regular basis on ice with my fat ass on it.. Never radared the sled but I would be shocked if it wouldnt have radared at 105 mph. Stone stock, jetted down two sizes on the mains with 120 studs. We were very happy with that sled.
The sled became my daughters sled and she never lost to any 600 of any brand in 1000 feet. Granted she only weighs 115 lbs.

My 2004, 500 xc, I had her to 100mph on the dom and 95mph on the GPS
