I noticed this weekend that the headlight housing is melting a bit from the engine/turbo heat. Has this happened to anyone else? I was wondering if this is just the way it is or if something is wrong with my headlight "placement" so to speak. Thanks. hmm.png

I to had this issue. I guess it is a well known problem with Cat. Mine however was from the bulb coming loose in the socket and melting the housing. I put tie wraps on all cables and sockets to prevent them from turning in the housing. I also heard from another ST owner that if you adjust the angle of your headlight up this will also help.
Good lick,

I had to turn my headlight way up, it was way out of adjustment on mine...No issues with melting anymore

Get some heat foil and cover all exposed area's and that will solve the problem. This has been going on since Cat came out with the turbo!

Why doesn't cat say something about the heat problem instead of making us find it out for ourselves.
