Just bought a 05 Warrior with 1800 miles. Ski's are C&A 6" wide. The sled darts alot. The ski's have a single runner carbide. Steering the sled takes some work especially at low speeds. What can I do? Should I increase the pressure on the front ski's or lessen the pressure? Should I stiffen or lessen the suspension? Should I put dolly's on the ski's? I am about 200 lbs. Should I put shims on the ski's to put more pressure on the back? Help!

The best thing I ever did for my sleds............ Put studboy duece bars......... 4 1/2" for non studded, 6" for studded track... They really control the darting.. And they bite much better than the doolys in corners... MMV.

Another option if you wanna dish out some cash is Simmons Flexi-Skis. We have them on two of our sleds and virtually no darting what-so-ever.

C&A will steer hard no mater what but a shim in the rear helps. I bought my 05 warrior in the middle of a trip, and it had the stock skis on it. Man did it dart. I put C&A razors on it with 6 inch carbides, and it hlped alot, but steered like a lumber wagon. I now run powder hounds with 9 inch sharper bars, and it is a dream to steer. It will still dart if it catches a frozen rut, but otherwise is very stable. Maxdlx
