Dude I have never heard of blade before but I'm not impressed. That Outlaw is pretty pathetic. Its 1640cc or something like that and it has 115hp. Its a fourstroke but still, thats not good. And there 700 has 129hp? Thats bad for todays day and Age, My 94 has 125 or more.

The Outlaw was never actually produced, it was put out as a concept sled. The 700 specs that you see are old specs. FAST has not updated their web site in some time. In order to be " impressed " with a Blade....ride one. Your '94 will feel like a Kitty-cat. Don't post critisisim if you have no idea what you're talking about. I have owned my Blade for 4 years now and it still BLOWS AWAY most sleds being made today. Ski-doo has made a huge deal about having a light weight sled this year. My sled is an '02 and it only weighs 430 lbs. Thats 6 years old and only 1 manufacture has caught up to Blade in the weight department. They still have a ways to go to match the hanldeling. NO OTHER sled made today can match the way a Blade handles ,period. homework.gif

I noticed that this one had a polaris engine, do they all? Whats the latest and greatest 700 have for HP stock then? I doubt my Cat will feel very much like a kitty compared to a blade since it weighs 200 lbs more. I doubt that they are faster than mine either. I beat F7's so unless stock you can do that, shutup2.gif Also why would a snowmobile company start this late when The name brands of today have been around for 50 years and people trust there name. These blades look like off brand chinese sleds when compared to A-Cat and Polaris and Yamaha.

KIDS, You just don't get it. Blade has been making sleds for just about 10 years now (suspensions even longer) , they're not "starting this late". The people who have them DO trust in them. I have owned Ski-doos, Polaris and Cats. The Blade is just a FAR superior sled...hands down. You "kids" all believe that if "my sled is faster than your sled" it means that it's a better machine. Maybe when you grow up you'll realize what you've said and ask one of us if you can take a Blade for a ride and then you'll see the LIGHT. bottom.gif If I were closer to you I would let you try one out. I let just about anyone who asks to ride it. They ALL come back and say how awsome it is. How many of us have ridin a 94 ZR and said wow.....not me, all I have ever said after riding one is ouch. As for your question, Yes they do have Polaris engines and the new 700 is putting out about 140 hp.
Zrxpilot
Thanks for the link. Ive been riding forever and had no idea they built one with an 1640 SS motor. Those things gotta be worth gold.

I will bet you the Blade will hand you your a$$ on the trail! These thing are like they are on rails.... As far as looking like some off brand of sled I beg to differ....I got to see Skimoto's Blade up close and it was like looking at a piece of art. As far as the company who makes them have you ever heard of FAST? Yes....M-10 and Airwave suspensions.

Does anyone know what the new cats weigh? If they're anywhere near what the blades weigh then your theory of them being light goes right out the window since the 09 cat lineup wipes blade and polaris off the face of the earth as far as power and performance.

My wife has an 07 f6 which is the new platform without electric start it weighs 498 LBS. Im just glad that TUB has reverse. Rode it for about 10 miles and thought it rode nice but you can deffinately feel the weight, didnt do much cornerring so cant realy say about that. I prefer my blade 1wx 700 you wont pass yourself 10 times on the trail in a days ride. It rides like a dream and you wont be beat to death after 100 miles or so. Also it gets about 17 mpg. STAND OUT DONT JUST BLEND
