Hey just curious what these new phazers pull like? I was interested but I want something that accelerates quick. What kind of 2 stroke can you compare this too? like a 440 or 500??

440 liquid will pull HARD on a Phazer...
Maybe the non-power valve 500's would be close, but the Phazer will pretty much lose against all 440/500's.

The phazers accelerate pretty good, i raced a polaris indy 500 and a yamaha 600 sx and both times i pulled out first

You pulled first cause you "treed" them and took off first. You might stay in front for 30 feet, but after that it's over. That 600SX should be around 100HP sled...

Mine runs dead even with my buddies 05' IQ trail converted, which ran dead even with my 03 prox, which was as fast as my 01' MXZx 440.

Okay so it sounds like they are pretty comparable with a 440 2 smoker

IMO the feeling of "acceleration" is very different than a 2 stroke. More than likely the two stroke will out accelerate you and then run all over you on top end BUT on the other hand... it will take a really good running 2 stroke and rider to keep up in the tight twisties. I know it sounds stupid as hell, it's really hard to explain. Maybe the difference of Low end torque is what I'm trying to explain?? The group of sleds I run with consist of 600 - 800 2 strokes (I'm the only 4 stroke). I can usually hold them off in the woods but they all catch up to me in the straight away's. So...if your looking for a sled that your going to win races with on the straight, Don't buy a Phazer.

need the speed is correct in the twisties as long as you can ride you can hold them off and usually pull away, easier to put power to the ground we have engine braking so i dont use brake 2smoke doesnt see brake lites and just keeps movin till its too late scare him a couple times like that and youll pull away, he ll think your nuts. lets keep this on the down low i really dont want to lose that trick it works real good til they crash into you. lol
