Groomer,we finally made it up today and now we are stuck in St Donat near trail 548 and 5. We are supposed to get 15 inches of snow with 50 mph winds tonight and tomorrow. I guess we`re stuck until the trails get groomed? My question is ..when will the groomers get out? Right after the storm?

if they groom the way we groom ,they ll groom right after the storm .for myself i won t be on tq 5 til the end of the storm .late sunday night or monday morning .samething for the br guy in albertville .

Groomer,we`re still in St Donat and will head out tomorrow morning. We will head over to saint anne or camp de lahaute if the trails are good. We were told La Cache may stil not be passable? Any word yet? Hope to see you.

no words about those trails yet .you could call pasty at 1 877 202 4636 ,for sure she ll have info for you .smclelan and macdav from nova scotia '' should '' be in cross point for tonight ,saw them friday at the clubhouse .they might post an update about the conditions tonight.


just arrived from outside ,now wind is in the game.i ll start grooming a short part of tq 5 after supper , up to the truck logging road.there s 2 bad places( drifts ) in that area and i want to make sure i ll be ok for early tomorrow morning.bring back the machine home and start again between 3 and 5 am .

Thank you so much groomer. Myself and 5 buddies can`t thank you enough for keeping us informed. We will head out at 7am tomorrow.

smclelan called me at 6pm local time and he told me they had one sled down on the north shore and they were waiting for the weather to clear as the roads have been closed. The tow truck driver would not attempt the 299 after the storm. Steven said they had to break trail in 12-18 inches of snow going from Murdochville to La Cache and down he 595 to NR. Very slow going as the snow is drifted and the trails very hard to find.

Thanks Andy for the update. I hope your friend can get his sled out. It looks like things (trails) are being groomed tonight and tomorrow and conditions should improve.

i just called at la cache ,looks like the lady there was in the '' moon '' a bit .she did nt know if they were on their way to groom trail 595 .she asked the owner and he said there was sledders today there and trail was nice !!! ha !! ha !! no way ill believe an answer like that .

maybe not rough but plenty of snow !!!

back from grooming for 3.5 hrs .there ' s at least 10 -12 '' of fresh snow + drifts .looks like it s going to be slow tomorrow.back on tq 5 early tomorrow morning .

We are to come out this week on Thursday to St. Zenon.... Would like to know if the trails will continue to get groomed as usual or is this it for grooming? Also, any updated trail closings?

Hey Groomer. We`re doing it! We went over to Camp madeline yesterday, trails were just like you said...lots of snow but passable and slower. We made good time. Today we went to peirce and then down to chandler for the night. Tomorrow we will head to La cache if everything looks good. Will you be on 595 tomorrow. Trails were excellent today. Temps are starting to warm up!

for sure lots of snow ,but since yesterday it has been 2 very nice days to ride ,awesome weather !!! temps are a little bit warm ,snow was '' sticky '' a bit while grooming .i had to clean the machine twice .i was losing too much rpm going up hill .
