Just thought I would post what is happening up here. We are at our camp off route 153. There is about 8" of snow around our camp. The snow was a little sloppy earlier but the temps have dropped and it's getting harder and the slop is now solid. So, we are heading out for a ride after lunch. I have no idea what the trails look like over in S.B. but I guess we will head over that way and see.. I would have to say that from looking at Schofield road that all the roads should be in good condition considering. So, I guess if you want to get that last ride in for the year you could run up here. I will post conditions after our ride this afternoon...

Well folks, it started snowing about 3:00 and its coming down pretty good. From the looks of the radar and such we should get some decent snow.. So, I will continue to keep you posted. It is ridable the way it is right now.. sloppy but ridable.. if we can just get about 4" or more inches this afternoon and tonight we are set.. I'll post back in a couple of hours or if something changes.

Ok, the wife and I just got back from a ride so here's the scoop.

It was a really nice ride. The spots that get hammered when there is good snow; the ones that just get all the snow run off of them are marginal. I would say 80% of the trails and roads are in good shape. We put on about 25 miles. Some spots I thought I was hitting dirt but it was the slush that froze not dirt. There are some rough spots but not really that many. We did not run Four Mile or anywhere out Parker Dam, Medix or Caledonia but did take the new trail back on the side of four mile and it was fine.. The bare spots have about 2" of snow on them. We ran Gordon, Schofield, Firebreak and some trails in that area. I would say if you don't mind some marginal spots then its ridable. On the other hand, you could always hit Erie. They got some really good snow from what I hear.
