Hi,

I just picked up a 600 and heading north for a week on Tues.
I don't have the service manual yet and need some specs.
I need clutch offset ( will the old P-85 tool still work)?
Driven pulley float (in and out).
When you set the offset I assume you push the driven all
the way in to measure it. Is this a correct assumption?
Also the rrss block is mounted in the bottom hole. Is this
the stock location?

One more thing, Whoever is in charge of cooling hoses should be
fired!!

Thanks For the help Jon

Jon,
This data is from the Polaris 2006 Repair Manual Part # 9919763

The alignment tool part # is PS-46998. (It does not state the offset measurement.)
After alignment there should be +/- 0.030" of pulley float.
The engine torque stop should also be checked 0.010-0.030" clearance.

The stock position for the RRSS is the bottom hole. Moving it to the top hole will decrease transfer.

Hope this help and enjoy the sled. They tend to get a bad rap from those who have never riden one for any
length of time.....
