March is the best time of year to ride and I need to know where to go! Come on guys lets have some info on MN and WI riding spots. I rode 375 miles last weekend east and north of Grantsburg To Solon Springs and east of Webb Lake and the trails were all very good with very few bare spots. There was a lot of trafic from the Bouya at the Hillside so the trails in that area NE of Danbury were preaty beat up by Sunday. The rain Sunday afternoon didn't help either. Are the groomers out? How much new snow Tuesday and Wednesday? Any other area reports?

Still riding and grooming around the ash river. picked up ~2 inches earlier in the week. haven't seen a rain drop in a long time.
i agree march riding is the best, warmer temps, longer days, potential for big dumpings of snow....

We put on 330 last weekend around Park Rapids. The best trails actually were south down to Sebeka. We went to Huntersville then up to Nevis where we took the Heartland to Walker it was hard and fast the best I've ever seen. We then made a loop up through the Paul Bunyan Forest, which appeared to have had no grooming, the forest roads were great but the trails were very bumpy and then headed back to P.R. They definately need snow up in the area but they have done a great job with what they have. Good Luck

How far south are they OK. A friend has a cabin a couple of miles north of Garrison. We could trailer a ways north from there if we had to, I'm thinkin that it's almost bare around Garrison. I run a 1 3/8" track so I need lube.
