I've noticed a lot of guys are really happy with their XP's. From what I read, it is the best chassis in the industry. I'm jumping ship from Yamaha, and the worst sled I have ever owned, (phazer) to Ski-Doo. I just want to know, especially from the high milers, how the reliability has been. I do 3000+ miles a year, so I want something that when maintained properly, won't let me down.
Thanks

NO problems with mine.

Only minor complaints is that could be a little plusher in the small chop, which can be fixed with a re-valve, and it needs oil every 400 miles or so.
GHOSTRIDER

I don't have one but my brother in-law does and it has been real good to him. I think he has about 2000 miles on it and it runs great. I was just wondering what has been wrong with your lemon phazer??

To make a long story short 46 days in the shop in 15 months, over $8000 in warranty work so far. I don't want to get too off topic, because the Yama-faithfull will highjack. Thanks for the replies

I have an 08 TNT & an 07 Polaris 600 IQ cfi. I really like the TNT. It is more fun than any other snowmobile I've ridden. I would agree that the seat isn't very good, especially if your putting on 200-300 miles a day. I switched seats with my buddy's adrenaline & found that it's a lot better seat, so I'll prolly try to find one in the off season. My biggest complaint is that it is a cold ride. Something a big windshield wont completely solve. Knees and legs get preaty cold, as ski-doo does make some kind of wind deflectors in their acceseries, although they dont look too appealing. If it's 20 deg. F & sunny, it's fine, but when the sun goes down, it get's really cold quick IMO. Otherwise, there great on fuel, preatty good on oil & overall a great sled once u get used to them.
snow...where?

A friend of mine said the same thing...and did the same thing. He is happy now with the seat.

I have had 2 people tell me that as well. They said it is a cold ride. I took one for a rip, I am taller (6'4") The top of my legs got cold.

If i had to choose, I would go for that new e-tech.

wait for the e-tec 600 , or get a 4-stroke
