How are they trail riding? I have heard that AC Sno Pro440's are pretty uncomfortable on the trails because the shocks are so stiff and people have to stand most of the time. 440's are premix, right? Can you add oil injection? Do you have to run 91 octane?

stock cats are pretty stiff but playing with clickers and adjusting springs, and messing with preload adjustments can change everything, they are all race sleds, and are all stiff stock. but its the stiff suspension as to why we buy them, if you are looking for a soft nice trail ride then dont get a 440, there are better motors for the trail

when everyone says how unreliable a 440 is, its not all that true. i hav put almost 3500miles on my 440 and all you need to do is get it dialed in. with all these miles i have put on, i havent even gone threw a set of rings and the thing revs over 9000rpm when pinned WOT. they just NEED regular maintanence because of the baad vibration the tiny little motor puts out.

oh and i havent even fouled a plug to
