A friend and I rode from north of Tisdale to Candle Lake and back on the weekend. Man, were the lakes and fields ever drifted up! My back is still sore. The trails were pretty good except for the Esker trail in the Narrow Hills - it was a washboarded mess. The burgers at Caribou Creek were better than the last time I was through :0) We rode from Candle back south yesterday in that wind, which was not fun, and had 50 km of snowcross track across fields at the end. Total mileage was about 550 km. I was riding a green 670 Summit and my friend was riding a purple 583 Formula. Anyone wave on the way by?

Nice long ride. I will be riding up north in another week. I hope it holds out until then.

We still have to get the Candle Lake ride in one of these days, eh?. I missed out on riding this past weekend, but I did get the new windshield installed.
