The manual says to use 87 octane fuel.My buddy who bought an identical st t660 claims there was a sticker on his gas tank that said to use premium fuel.He also claims he gets great mileage using premium.Anybody else seen this sticker or is using premium fuel ????

87 octane is all you need, maybe your buddy has messed with his boost and has to use premiun and doesn't want you to know.

I have 6000 miles on my 06 ST, always run 87, MPG is around 14 during normal trail riding, less during constant high speed riding.
