I rode the sons FX this weekend and had a great time on it. However, the seat sucks as the only place I was hurting was my butt. Anyone come up with a solution?

The thing is that its built like a dirt bike so it has a seat that gives you feedback cause its a stand-up rider performance type machine for rough trail and when the trail is rough do you really sit?

Don't know how old halftag's sled is, but those seats really soften up over time. There's a huge difference in how "spongy" mine is from where I sit compared to farther back on the seat. Might be worth waiting for a while before replacing it.

Thats not a bad price for a aftermarket seat I would try that out first if your not happy with the seat.
