Travelling to Lac Saint Jean on Tuesday and for the first time. What is the snow situation up there?? I read that south of the lake will be done with a warm up, but yet there is ton's of snow around?? Is it worth taking the trip up there??? Again, this is my first trip to the area and am not familiar with where the snow lines exists as well as which trails to travel??? Reading no snow south of the lake puts a scare in my travel plans. Any help would be appreciated!!! thx

Just got done with a week in the area. Tons of snow from the Quebec City area north. The trail up by Mont Valin is the worst in the area. Broken groomers and other problems. From Quebec City to below St. Jean and to east is the best. Trail 3 is awesome so is the 23 through the park.
