Our plan is to leave home and truck to Pointe a la Croix and unload early in the morning of March 7th. Then we are going to head west on the TQ 5, turn on the 587 that go through Matepedia and comes out at Groomers clubhouse. We should be there around 1:00pm for lunch (hopefully with Groomer). That night we are going to stay at the Quality Inn in Matane {around 225 miles}. The net day we are going to travel the north shore and stay at the Camp Haute Madeleine (remote cabins east of the 597) {maybe 180 miles}. The next day we will go down the 597 to Murdochville, cross over to La Cache, down to New Richmond and on to the truck {260 miles}. This will be a low mileage trip, more a scenic tour. Let me know if there maybe someone else out there that we might cross paths with.

The Wyman Pond Racers from Massachusetts are driving to Rimouski on 3/8. We ride 3/9-3/12 all the way around Gaspe clockwise in 4 days of riding. Hope to cross paths and find out what's what with the area riding.

i just checked on the calendar and the 7 is next friday.so if it s a normal week for grooming ,next thursday i ll be on tq 5 + a local trail.so i ll be back home early friday in the morning ,between 8 and 9 am i guess .if my local trails are ok on wednesday night ,i ll try to bring the machine home .

i ll save grooming time on thursday night run.

Sounds like a great trip. We are doing something very simular but the other way. We plan to go to Edmunston and unload Wedensday night. Get up the next day and go to Cambelton and then on to NewRichmond for the night. From there to the La Cache for lunch and then to Murdochville for the night. The next day should be up the coast to Matane I think ? Then we head back to Edmunston to load for home on Monday.
Do you plan on making reservations ? We don't as we never know what happens on a trip.
We are two Renegades, a mach Z and a yamaha....not sure what flavour ? If you see us stop and talk !

ha !! ha !! hope so !!! just back from '' groomering '' ha !! ha !! tq 5 !! started at 10 am .a bit of freezing rain between ste marguerite and home on my way back for about an hr .was very light .if we have that storm i might be very busy grooming tq 5 + local trails but i ll do my best to be at the clubhouse , be sure of that !!! if i can groom tq 5 thursday '' after the storm '' ,then friday early morning i could groom only one local trail ,go home then up to the clubhouse ,then back on local trails . i ll try to do that if we have that storm on wednesday.
