I will be in the area in about 10 days and want to take the trail from Chib. north to Mistissini as I have never done it.

What is the trail like and what is Mistissini like???

interesting question, i've never heard of anyone going up that way (Mistissini ), bring gas....

Was hoping someone could tell me how long the trail is from Chib. and surely they must have gas up in Mistissini.

I think I remeber seeing a sign in Chib. that it is about 60 miles or so north via the trail but I cant be sure.

Same to you...have a safe trip.Hope you will get the chance to ride Senneterre-Louvicourt-Val d'Or stretch!!
At the same time you can fuel up in Louvicourt and hide some 950 ml'ers in the saddlebag!!

Mid.........we did that at Louvicourt last week.........lol

Only, we went to Joncas. Maybe we had too many pops, but we saw 5 or 6 lynx on the trail.

I wonder how Joncas is fairing this winter with TQ 63 closed.It's a wake up call for them.No money no candy!!!

We were there last tuesday night..........i'm guessing about 20 people.

Hi, 2 years ago I tried to go up, it was a 1 sled type of trail, made It about 15 miles and turned around... kinda started to late in afternoon. there is a place to stay on the lake. I think they improved the whole trail so it could be groomed by the cree natives up there I wanted to try 3.5 weeks ago while I was in matagami, they had just opened the tq93 end of the 396... It was full of bushes but made it to matagami. the ski doo 1000 I was with had a fuel pump problem.... The ski doo dealer in chib will have the info If you really want to know. When I tryed it they told me Id never make it with a shout track... but I think they improved the trail........
