I have a 1998 mxz 440 fan and was wondering if anybody ever raced one or knows how to set one up. I will be cross country racing with it and will also be riding it. And was wondering if anybody knows how to set it up for better performance I am mostly looking for clutching tips. Also does anybody have any old magazine articles about it or brouchures from back then.

There are three adjusting screws on the drive clutch. they must all be set to the same number. they effect the max engine rpm.

try to locate a copy of the race manual for the sleds year.
