I am very new at this sport and started with 2 machines to ride around the fields-1988 Stratos and a 1988 Formula MX.

I since bought newer machines and have been riding them on the trails in upstate NY and been loving it.


The 1988 stratos -- My father in law was riding it this weekend and it just stopped going. It runs good, starts easy but won't go. I only had a few minutes to look at it, but I raised the track off the ground and ran it, and it spins until I put it back on the ground. It appears that the clutch is working properly, but I really wouldn't be able to assess what "properly" is when it comes to clutching.

If anyone has any suggestions as to what I can try, I would really appreciate it.
