Some guy from Edwardsburg is "LUCKY" to be alive after he took his friends sled through the woods at 80 M.P.H! He didn't let of the gas at the end of the drag field by Korn Street and went through the woods and flipped end over end and hit a fence. This dude is VERY, VERY lucky!!!
On a lighter note, couple of buddy's came up and we rode 40 miles. They went back out with Cowgirlbee to put on another 40...
LakeEffectSledHead, how was the trails on Buffalo Run? I'm sure pretty good since it looked like you got just a little more snow than I did.

dayme, after reading the topic I thought it was you!! Glad it was not. Those dawg gone hoodlums from Edwardsburg.... Almost was going to call you animal, but hooked up with Adam and his Dad. Also met up with a few other locals. Good ride, trails were,, ice base and a shock workout. Well I feel a fever coming on. May be sick of work tomorrow.
So, do ya think we can get a group ride in before mother nature turns into a beeech?

A few of us were on BRT back on Feb 1st and had an accident where you cross the railroad on Quince Rd. We were heading East and a train was coming West blinding us. The 2 guys in front of me were going about 90mph and didn't stop for the road. They jumped the road and hit the top edge on the ditch bank. Both sleds are virtually totaled. 1 guy dislocated his arm and broke his collar bone and his leg had problems too. The other guy broke his neck and now sits at home with a halo screwed to his skull. He is very lucky as he can still walk.

At least they're off the trail now. There could have easly been sleds sitting there waiting for the train to pass.
