hey my brother just pick up a 99 mxz 600......just wanted some input/advice "the good, bad and the ugly...."
since i have only rode and worked on POLARIS snowmoblie. I know i'll will be the one wrench on it for him, he belives in 0 maintenance.

I rode mine for 8-years without problems. The magneto's on that sled were underpowered from the factory. My handgrips never got remotely warm. If your not in the far north, you might be o.k. Like anything else, do the periodic maintenance and you have a very reliable and pretty quick sled.

Great Sled, I have a friend that has one. I had to put a MPEM in it this fall at 11,062 miles. He pulled the engine somewhere around 9,000 miles and sent it to the Crank Shop to be freshened, They said that there was absolutley nothing wrong with it. He should have No problems with it at all.

Great sled. I have 5000 miles on mine. Good on gas too.
If U find a deal on a SC-10II rear skid I would get it. The stock
skid is pretty stiff. Also check the carb boots for cracks. I used
100% black silicone to coat the carb boots up just incase of leaks.
