Looking to pick up a 60csx or 76csx.

What else do I need to make this thing work? I will be using it in Island Park, Idaho to make sure I don't get lost and to mark waypoints to the spots.

Thanks in advance.

Get a RAM Mount for it. Might want to consider hard-wiring it into the sled to provide constant power (keep the backlight on for better visibility).

You'll want detailed maps of the area as well to get the most bang out of it's use. Topo from Garmin is probably the best choice for that area.

A ram mount is a nice accessory. Keeps the GPS out where you can see it, and it improves satellite reception over carrying it in your pocket. ~$50
see http://www.ram-mount.com/ramgps.htm for product information. http://www.gpscity.com/gps-mount/garmin has some decent prices

Garmin's Topo 2008 topographic maps are a nice addition to see details like streams, mountains, lakes and other backwoods landmarks. ~$80
see http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/mapSource/topous.jsp for a description but shop around for the best price.

A power cable that you can plug into your sleds 12 cigarette lighter socket is good to have, and can save you a bundle in batteries. ~$7.50 to $30
I found a neat power adapter that plugs into the 12v lighter socket, but uses the USB cable. ~$5.95, so it is a whole lot cheaper than Garmin's
specialized power cable. Works like a charm. and there is less 'stuff' to carry since I already carry the USB cable.
