Just a quick question - I am replacing the carburetor mounting flanges (rubber boots) on an XLT. Do I need to use a hi-temp silicon (or any other sealant) between the boot and the motor? Or just mount the rubber boot dry to the motor. Thanks!

The Polaris boots use an O-ring to seal against the block. No sealer needed. Hope you're not using aftermarket made in Taiwan or worse boots.

Question? what is the difference between aftermarket and genuine boots besides price?.

Not all polaris do. 92 for sure does not use the o-rings.
