JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE ANYTHING DIFF. THINKING ABOUT GOING TO THE ALMOND SPRING WILL THIS HELP OR HURT ME. THINKING I SHOULD GET THE RPMS UP A LITTLE HIGHER ON TOP END. AND MAYBE ENGAGE ALITTLE EARILER. THANKS DGJ.
What are you looking to do with the sled? Twisty trails, long straight runs? My setup right now is as follows and is great for twisty trails and it tops off at about 92mph. 10-60 weights, almond blue spring (engages at about 4500), 66/44-.46 helix with a black spring in the secondary. Geared down to 23-40. It takes off much better and backshifts quick. You don't want to get much above 8000rpms on the top end, power falls off quick after that.
