It was a few (3) days out but Friday morning John Dee was calling for 8+ inches of snow in parts of southern MN monday night into tuesday. I just checked the weather channel's web site and they were calling for some snow but didn't mention any accumulation and there were no watches or warnings and it's only about 24 hours out at this point. So has anybody heard anything??? I'm assuming the track must've shifted quite a bit south or north.

Well I did a little poking around the weather channel web site and I searched north and south and found the storm warnings to the south. So...instead of northern IA and southern MN getting the lyon's share of snow it looks like it will be central IA and WI w/maybe the extreme SE corner of MN getting in on the action. God I hope we a least get an inch or two out of the deal. It would be nice to go for a little spin right from the house. Dec rocked but it's been a damn drought ever since in my part of the state.

I drove from the Twin Cities to LaCrosse this weekend and from the cities to Rochester there is no snow at all. Heading East on 90 all the way to LaCrosse looked to have plenty of snow.

Accuweather for what ever reason is saying 1-3 for tomorrow and Tuesday. I will probably put the sleds away in a week or two.
