Heading out over easter for first trip out west, going to trail tride with the wife for a day then go with a guide next day for off trail. Anybody done this before? They asked alot of questoins about riding experience. I have done alot of off trail boondocking in the UP but no real hill climbs. What tour level should I tell them, I have know problem with powder turns and boodocking around the trees in the medows but what kind of hills do they tackle with the groups. I dont want ot be in over my head and dont want to be with a group with no powder experience. I would have perfered to go with my usuall group but they never seem to be able to go so the wife stepped up and booked the trip. I cant wait always wanted to go know its my turn!!!

Any info would be great.

went ten years ago for my honeymoon. it was a riot. our guide took us to
a hill and told me to climb halfway up and turnaround so I did came back
down and he said "you can ride, try any hill you want. also see if you can
go to the greys river area to ride and have him take you to blind bull
play area.
