Just bought a left over 06 Demo CF 7 sno pro and this machine is a complete dog. I traded in my F7 that I loved so much for this Crossfire which I figured would be a little slower but I did not expect to get beat by 500's and 660 turbo's. What could be wrong with this thing? It is very boggy and all speeds and at wide open it pulls best 7300 RPM. After today I am just about ready to try another brand.

Put a inline fuel reducer in it... mine seemed slow compared to a good day on my F5 too... then I put a 300 jet in my fuel line. I would recommend it. Some guys put 290s in it, but they say you really have to watch your piston wash then... I probably should be doing that too, but I haven't been... On the one real cold day I rode... I took it out, but then it just sucked, so I put it back in and plan to leave it there full time now.

Like mentioned
At 7300 rpms wide open ,your exhaust valves are not operating - Factory stock ,should bee pulling at least 7900-8000 rpms
