Shush, Don't be telling all the good secrets. JK schild27.gif
From Gemmel take a left and head to Waskish, Fourtown and Baudette. That railroad bed is fast but boring.
We were up there a couple weekends ago and put on 425 miles only saw 5 sleds.

Today, trailored to gemmell, took a rt. and went to Effie, then big fork river to big fork, and looped around back to Gemmell, 120 miles, seen a couple groups ,40 degree day, hurt the trails, not bad though.River was interesting...fun.

Sounds like snow out west heading this way. Have you heard any weather updates, is northern Mn supposed to get any?
Zrxpilot
Sorry to have missed you snopro. Ive also been up on all those trails near Gemmel. Folks have been hunting/riding up there for 20 years or better.

Has the warm weather hurt the trails much? I am looking to come up there for the day on Monday, can a person leave Bemidji and get on good trails? Where in Bemidji can a person drop off to go for a ride? I go up there in the summer but don't get up there very often in the winter.

Thanks for the help.

The snow cond. here in the Blackduck area, not bad, trails south towards Bemidji took a beating but up here have more room to wiggle around and find fresh stuff.further no. the better, was in Bauddette today and excelllent cond., unfortunatly working.
I'd recommennd parking at a tavern along TH71 north,1/2 dozen, between, Bemidji-Blackduck,"71 bar/Turtle River,Pour Willies/ Tenstrike, Pond/ Blackduck
If in the area and need a riding partner, let me know, not sure bout a Mon.Season, at it's best, but don't last long.Zrxpiolot....come on back.
More snow would be awsome, were due.
