we rode lg today, up over prospect into luzerne, trails were actaullt really good, little icey in the corners but what could you expect. then we went down on the lake and played around on some open water, i would say it was probably 100-150ft pass, we shot it a whole bunch of times (if you guys were there i was on a black fusion, and my buddies were riding a 08 nitro rtx red/white, and a 04 rev 600 ho blue/yellow) anyways we stopped for a sec and we just saw people running towards the open spot, i didnt see enough of the sled to know what it was, but i did see it had made it to the end of the water and had the skis on the ice, people were pulling on it, then it went in. i was told it was a yamaha, and i was also told the guy said he must have got water on the belt, because he said it just wouldnt go anywhere. it was about 20 ft deep where it went in, so they are going to have to get divers to get it out. i heard the fines will be alot

People trying to pull a snowmobile out of Chittenango Creek rescued a man whose snowmobile fell through the ice.
The unidentified man was riding quickly across Oneida Lake Sunday morning and slowed when he saw a group of about eight people wading in the cold water to pull a snowmobile out of the ice, said Bridgeport Fire Chief Paul Smith. When he slowed down near them, the weight of his own snowmobile cracked the ice and sank into the 3-feet deep waters of Oneida Lake at the mouth of Chittenango Creek.
The people pulled him from the water and into a their boat, Smith said. They then tried to get back up on the ice and push him to Hitchcock Road in Bridgeport but the ice kept breaking.
Firefighters were called at about 11:45 a.m., Smith said.
Bridgeport firefighters helped get all three people back on the ice and to the shore, Smith said. The man was not injured and refused ambulance services.

I was crossing the water on Lake George(in front of The Boardwalk) as well on Saturday until that tool that does the water jump for the carnival yelled at me.
A few years ago the sled behind me went down. It was a ski-doo S-chassis sled

Owner has 24 hrs. to get the sled out then the fines start. We lost two sleds in the lake two years ago in 70' of water and it cost $750.00 a piece to retrieve them. Took the divers most of the day.
