The Peak is a nice place for the family with lots to do. I am sure that you looked on their website, but for this year, they have the snowmobile trail that leaves out right in front of the main lodge. I live about 10 minutes from the Peak and usually drop my sled there. I also have friends that bring up the family to do a long weekend getaway.

Lots to do in the area....wine tasting tours near by, tubing, skiing, snowmobile trails, indoor waterpark (25 minutes away in Erie, PA), great food nearby, you name it....if there is anything that you want information on, just let me know

Here is the link to the indoor waterpark...not sure how old the kids are.....

thanks toyrider didnt know about the water park may have to stay an xtra day , i wish i was taking my sleds...is there much snow out that way
jkski
I was just at the peak 2 days ago and the hill conditions were great. I know they are calling for a slight warm-up, but the hills should hold-up just fine.
I did not know about the sled trails, but if you have anymore info on them that would be great. How many miles of trails can you get to and how are they?

The ski conditions will hold up great to the warm weather that isn't gone last long. As far as the snowmobile trails, well the woods have good snow amounts, but the fields are another story. Unless we get some snow this week it may be awhile till we get back on them. One thing for sure, the Peak has a great base of snow for the skiers....to bad the trails couldn't steal some of that.

As far as the snowmobile trails. Well from the Peak you can basically ride New York and Pennsylvania. Either way you will have alot of riding to do if you want to see it all. Below is a pic of the NY Map

Peek n Peak is marked near the bottom left as 90 and shows skiier by it...this shows the trail into Sherman NY

Now this map shows the trail section from Sherman NY to Mayville NY
