hey whats up... a couple of friends and i rode the Jefferson county trails and we loved them. they were groomed for the most part a litle bumpy in some spots. Dropped trailer at Sax's star in i believe....on rt. 12 and 26. Headed north on rail # 13. Saw maybe 3 sleds. We had lunch at Cap'n Quarters.......one hell of a burger! order the Cap'n..you wont be disapointed. Can sombody show us around next week?

stay away from the kettle morain been in there 2-3 times and i get lost every time

we took the trails to whitewater form the chain last weekend. don't think that will happen again.

We ride jeff cty alot. The cap'n is the best. The cook will help ya out if in a pinch. I know he did for me.

Excellent food. The steak sandwich is the bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Put on 85 miles today and seen maybee 12 sleds. Trails are getting a bit icy, but were great in most areas. Will be riding next weekend also I hope.

Yes Captians has a good burger BUT for the Sunday morning breakfast feast get to Norm's this AM. Dont wear any restrictive clothing by the waist band. Than if possible get to Heather's for The Big Rockdale Burger for lunch. You wont need any food for days after this one, two.

was out around jefferson area tonite for a little cruise, river is good wish i could saw that about the trails! gettin a lille rough out there!

too bad cap'ns will be gone after early nov. State is going to tear it down for the new highway. They arn't sure where they are going to go.

Had a cap'ns burger yesterday. Trails are decent. Not sure how much the dusting to 1" we got helped.
