can i fit a 1 1/4 inch paddel under a 99 xc 600 without problems? And whats the easiest way to put a new motor torque bolt in?
WINTER XCR
1.25 track will fit. Not sure what you mean by motor torque bolt can you give better discription.

As said above, a 1.25 will fit. I think it will have to be notched for the tunnel coolers.
What riding conditions? Mostly trail or more off-trail? Ripsaw is great for trail/harder conditions, Predator / Shockwave is better in the looser stuff.

Do you mean the torque stop bolt at the rear of the engine, PTO side?
When it broke on my 99 xc,I pulled the carbs and pipe, then pulled the4 nuts holding the motor plate. Tilting the motor forward so I had room to put in a new bolt.

Is the track already notched over the track clips? If it just rubs slightly I'd consider just letting it wear. If it rubs more, it should be notched.

might be some tips here:

Its barely rubbing. And turns by hand fairly easy, do you think that letting it rub the exchangers is going to tear up the coolers? Holy Sh!t this thing really hooks up!
