anyone else having trouble with the wires for their hand warmers being cut, ripped apart right at the connector plug under the riser block???

Remove the console and re-route the wires from the back and sides to the front of the riser. This has been an issue since they went to the higher bars in "02. While you're at it be sure your brake hose isn't rubbing on the console, if so, tie it back to the riser.
