NO don't say junk in the trunk...what is this in the seat storage compartment, 07 CF 6. it is not threaded and just spins around and I believe is the culprit for exploding a sixxer I had in there....Mt dew...not Busch light. It ruined a good roll of butt wipe. There is only one of them in the trunk. is it some kind of secret weapon to use against grandpas on yamahas. is it and just some unneccessary stupid plastic part to compet with the highest number of stupid worthless plastic parts record ski doo holds. is it part of the power ejection seat. If I pull it out will I gain 5mph or 5mpg. Since my owners manual was ruined by that forementioned catastrophe to my sixxer I can't refer to that but have to refer to the smartest people in the world that own crossfires..can you tell I had 5 survivors and they all helped me change first set of carbides for the year...

it slides against the spring loaded clip that you pull on to release the seat......a safety device!

I figured it had to do something with seat removeal...POOlaris should learn from this, a buddy with a 06 classic 600 had a seat fall off while rideing....funniest thing ever....the stupid thing doesn't lock in the sping on my slead
SAFETY... what's really funny is if you think about it, if they were soo concerned about safety keep these bad boys under 60 mph...or remove all trees by trails
