Need some help. Burned up a piston and cylinder in Canada last weekend and am in process of repairing. Does anyone have any tips on installing cageless bearing? Have never done one and was just wondering if there is anything special i need to know before i open package and mess something up. Thanks

My tip would be to replace them with a caged bearing, that's what I did with my Mach Z motor.

just put piston in my 2001 formula deluxe 600. I put a very small amount grease on the bearing needles to help hold them in place. i used a 1/4 in. drive 14 mm socket to hold them and the two end washers while lining up the holes for the piston pin. pushed the pin right straight threw. the socket pushed out the other side and the pin was in place. easy as pie. good luck.
