Here i sit in the parking structure in downtown grand rapids by myself waiting for my daughters, their friends, and my wife to go to the Jonas Brothers concert at van andel arena. i have seen a million soccer moms in vans with carloads of girls all decked out going to see this boy band. being nice or stupid i drove them here so they didnt have to worry about getting out of here late and driving home, we live like 2 1/2 hours away. I have seen young girls 3ish and i have seen the 40 year old moms, who at one time may have been hot, but sure as hell not now. these kids are crazy about this band, personally i think they suck, but according to my kids, i just don't get it. so i do the thing i do best while trying to have fun, go on hardcoresledder.com. what else could i possibly do? once the concert starts i am going to a bar down the street to hopefully get something to eat and escape the thousands of screaming kids who dont know real music and what it sounds like. out!

Saline eh, I have a buddy that lives there. You are 2 1/2 hours away from everything living there. I am in Livonia and I have to stop and get my oil changed 1/2 way to his house whenever I go there! I'd say you're a good dad except for the fact you let them ride cats. I gotta go, American Idol is starting soon.

Your a good dad. Try the HopKat for food. It is to the right of where the buses park for the band at Van Andel. (SE Corner of the building.)

I've come to the conclusion that the hardest thing to do is usually the best/right thing to do. You're a good dad and you know it. Just don't rag on them for liking the doo-doo head brothers. If you do that, then you become a bad dad in their eyes. Be quiet and confident in knowing that the band sucks. We all know they stink too.

the girls loved the concert and wouldnt stop talking about it. it only took about 30 minutes before they were all asleep. when i was walking around the arena looking for something to eat, i came across where all the buses and motorhomes were so i took some pics and showed the girls and they were elated and they have since printed them and i am sure they will be making the rounds in the 3rd grade halls.
