Has any one tried to remove the angle iron out of the stock Y pipe on the ZR 900?
I was reading on Starting Line web site when you install the SlP single Pipe you have to remove this out of the stock Y pipe. There could be some power to be had here.

just remember, you don't want to do something you'll regret in the future...

You could be looking up the right path.
D&D and Speedwerx singles include a new Y-pipe which is rumoured to the the key to their performance increase.
One catch though, GLS advised me that using a ZR800 EFI or ZR900 y-pipe on my ZR8 carb may cause detonation so beware if you go there.

I seen on Dynotech that the D&D single pipe for the ZR 800 the horse power was made in the Y pipe more so then the pipe itself. I would like to see it on the Dyno before I tried it and melted my engine.
