The resistor is located in your underhood fusebox, on the cover look for, RES, it just unplugs and has a numer on it.

So far i have checked 3 sleds in Michigan, all #5

I had a #5 in my 06 ST. They make them #1 through #11 according to the service manual. I'm not 100% sure, but the majority should have #5's in them becuase the timing is supposed to be 5deg BTDC. Each number is supposed to advance it that same number of degrees. EX. A #1 should set the timing to 1deg BTDC and a #10 should set the timing to 10deg BTDC. Atlest thats how it reads the service manual. You probably already knew this but I figured I'd throw it out there incase you didn't.

If I pulled the right one it said 3.5? 05 eb st. If thats not it I ll check a little better I was rushing digging my wire harness out from the pile of parts sitting in the belly.

I think mine says 8. If I am looking at the right fuse.

Anyone know what removing the resistor does to the timing? Does it go high or low? I had the wiring harrness changed and they forgot to put the resistor from my old harness in. I now have it in but still put 250 miles on a brand new sled without it wink.gif 2007 T660 Turbo turning. The number on the resistor is a 6.
